My favourite A/W Jackets

It’s that time of year when the leaves start to fall and the temperature starts to drop. We need to start investing in some Jackets to keep us warm but still looking stylish. I’ve picked out some of my current high street favourites.

Burton

The 1904 Grey Owen Check Overcoat. This overcoat is a must for AW19 and you can pick it up in so many different styles and colours. The reason I love this one is the check just gives it that extra detail that makes it really stand out. You can wear this as a casual look like I have in the images below but also with a nice suit for more formal occasions. The fit is great too, I went for a large as I am 6ft 3inches with a 42inch chest. The overcoat was retailing at £80 but is currently reduced to £56 so if you hurry you can make a saving of  £24! I have left the direct link below for you guys for you guys to shop.

ASOS

The ASOS Design Suede Biker Jacket In Tan. This look is more streetstyle and considered the ‘cool’ look. As soon as I saw this jacket I fell in love with it! I would probably say it’s my favourite jacket right now but with our great British weather the rain stops me wearing it most days. As you know suede and rain don’t go well together. Tan is really in this year and will definitely make you stand out from the crowd as most guys would pick out the black biker jacket. This jacket does retail at £120 but is such a nice piece and is 100% leather so definitely worth the price. I have had a lot of people compliment the jacket when wearing it out and a few of my friends have already purchased it themselves, but I’m not sure that’s a good thing for me as we now clash on nights out ha!

Debenhams

The Red Herring Removable Hooded Parka. If you’re looking for something a little warmer for those frosty mornings and cold nights then this parka coat is perfect. This jacket is not only warm but lightweight too. A lot of my previous parka coats have been really heavy and bulky but this one is a lot more comfortable to wear. You can remove the faux fur hood as well which makes it look like a completely different jacket. The good thing is if your off out for a muddy adventure in the cold, this jacket can go in the washing machine and tumble dryer so it is super easy to clean. I think it looks great when layering as you can see from my images below I have styled it for a relaxed layered look. You can pick this up in the sale for £69.30 reduced from £99.

Ted Baker

The Navy Westun Double Breasted wool Peacoat.  Crafted from wool for ultimate luxury, this peacoat is the perfect winter coat. I have styled it for a smart casual look but this coat will truly go with anything. The peacoat is a wardrobe staple and I don’t think it will ever go out of fashion, definitely an investment piece that will last you for years.  Any man wearing a peacoat would look stylish in my opinion. Whether it is a smart coat for work or for everyday use when you are out and about then this ideal.  Not only is it really good quality it looks great too. There is even a adjustable collar which means it can be worn in multiple ways. RRP £339

Again I have layered my look with a T shirt and shirt and I usually get my jackets in a large so I can layer up. This is in store now so make sure you head to your nearest Primark to check it out!
